BBMP Results – BBMP Elections – BJP may Win Bangalore BBMP Elections – BBMP Results 2010 – BBMP: In the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) elections BJP is poised to capture power. Of the 150 seats results announced BJP has won 83 seats and is leading in another seven seats.
Congress has won 50 wards and leads in 2 wards. While JD (S) has won in 11 and leads in 1 ward. There are totally 198 seats in BBMP.
Counting of votes began at 8 am in 28 different counting centers for the BBMP elections held on March 28. The counting of votes is tet to begin in about 38 wards.
BJP is all set to win as 32 non-BBMP councillers – MPs, MLAs and MLCs residing in Bangalore have right to vote.
