Distressing Drama ‘Precious’ swept Independent Spirit Awards

Precious drama has swept five prizes including best feature at the Independent Spirit Awards. Mo’Nique and Gabourey Sidibe won the award for best supporting female lead and best female lead. The Award ceremony took place in Los Angeles and was attended by many Oscar Nominees including British actors Colin Firth ,Carey Mulligan and Helen Mirren.

Car Crash Paralyzed the Left Hand of 2010 Best Actor Nominee, Morgan Freeman

In 2008, a car crashed damaged the left hand of actor Morgan Freeman. The accident caused nerve damage of the left hand. The actor went surgery to repair the damage.
